TUITION & FEES
Tuition by grade level for the 2010-2011 school year:
Pre-Kindergarten (full day program): $11,450
Kindergarten - grade 4: $13,100
Grades 5 - 8: $13,625
Grades 9 - 12: $15,900
For those who are not able to pay the tuition in full, payment plans are available from the Business Office.
Outings are a fundamental part of the Foothills Academy program providing an excellent opportunity for students to connect their classroom experiences to the outside world and to bring these experiences back to campus. Outings are closely connected to the curriculum and are required to enable students to expand physical, social and leadership skills. Outing costs are estimated by grade (in addition to tuition):
Tuition Refund Insurance is mandatory for those electing payment plans. The tuition insurance premium is 3.4% of the annual tuition and becomes effective in the event of the student's inability to attend school due to a covered medical or non-medical reason. More information is available from the Business Office.
Financial Aid: Foothills Academy offers need-based financial aid. The application process is as follows:
1. Request a financial aid packet from the Admissions or Business Office at Foothills Academy.
2. Complete a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) to the School Scholarship Service (SSS) online at http://sss.nais.org/. The school code for Foothills Academy is 4599.
3. Mail a copy of your 2008 and 2009 W-2s and IRS federal tax returns (including all schedules) directly to SSS using the address provided online or in the packet.
SSS will provide Foothills Academy with an estimated calculation of financial need, which will be kept confidential and reviewed only by the Financial Aid Committee.
After-School Programs:
After-School Care includes a healthy snack and is available from 3:30-6:00 p.m. at a cost of $8 per hour, prorated in 15 minute increments.
After-School Enrichment and Recreation classes include a wide variety of interests and activities. A detailed brochure of class offerings and costs is available from the office.
Lunch: (optional) approximately $4.50 regular / $5.50 supersize, per lunch ordered.
