I have been at Foothills for more than seven years as a teacher and administrator. Each day, I watch students thriving in an academically rigorous environment. Foothills students want to come to school because they are excited about learning on and off campus. Learning is active and engaging as students not only acquire skills, they ask questions, investigate and seek solutions.
We take pride in knowing each of our students well as we integrate a challenging, real-world and hands-on curriculum building on strengths, interests and capabilities. Our goal is for students to know themselves and how they learn best, so they are confident and motivated contributors who effectively share their interests, accomplishments and viewpoints.
Foothills graduates tell our story best, attending colleges of their choosing where they succeed because they are academically prepared, and know how to find and utilize a range of resources to accomplish goals. Foothills alumni make their mark. Graduates tell us time and again that being at Foothills made a significant difference to their success.
